1st October, 2012...the most awaited day in my life (at least until now). I attended my first job interview and was eagerly waiting for the results. Exactly at 3:30 in the noon i knew I was going to work for TCS for at least the next 2 years. What a wonderful moment! But then came the worst part. I knew I had a job in my hand with at least 8 months to go before I graduated with a B.Tech degree. Life suddenly became terribly boring, not that I had nothing to do but simply because nothing that I had to do interested me anymore. It might sound really strange but I've never been a conventional B.Tech grad student that one might envision to be. I prefer to be more of a writer than a techie for a simple reason like outright passion. So why a B.Tech and not a B.A you ask. Well, I did have my plans but then as always destiny had its plans too and it wins! No regrets though. Everything happens for a reason, I believe. And all this long, rather boring description of mine is just a roundabout way of telling that I'm bored to death and here I am doing what I always love to do, even in my crappiest moment, writing!
Before starting this blog I was rather confused about what this actually should be about. After much thought I decided it would about me reacting to the people and situations around me, it would be about the world as I see it, you know more like a freelance journalist type. Okay now I'm making it sound too serious and to be honest even I was quite overwhelmed and frightened at the seemingly highly responsible idea. But then I thought "Hey relax! It's not like I'm writing for a big news agency or something". So lets just say it's a lighter take on things although occasionally it might get serious. At least I hope so, because somewhere in the future I would be totally happy being the editor of some famous newspaper. Okay now you think I'm being cheeky but hey, that's originally me and that my friends is the girl within!
